A fun summertime way to make a little extra money is by making concrete blocks for sale to the construction industry, home and garden stores, or for your friends who are remodeling. Concrete blocks are very easy to make in a concrete block machine or through the use of individual block molds.
By machine or by hand, the blocks are all the same. A wet concrete mixture is poured into a mold, and tamped down or vibrated to remove air-bubbles and then the finished bricks are left to cure until they are ready to build with. During the summer months concrete blocks can be made outside so that money can be saved on having a heated workspace to work in.
